Yuin Huzami solo album The Ripple Effect launch & exhibition Feb 25

Coalition Crew MC/producer Yuin Huzami unviels his highly anticipated sophomore solo project The Ripple Effect with a launch party of epic proportions!

The Ripple Effect is entirely self produced and sees Yuin returning to the scene as one of Australia’s premier MC/producer artists. It features collaborations with Mr Laneous, Kel on earth and a number of Brisbanes most prolific musicians and instrumentalists.

Supported by local beat maker legends Desmond Cheese, super fresh rebel-rousers Kryptamystik and long term collaborators Rainman and Kel on Earth (Bankrupt Billionaires) plus Dj party sets all night from DJ’s Nikk C and Yagi! This party will also host live painting, exclusive visuals from the new Artillery Magazine and….. a raffle for a large super fresh Sofles Canvas!

The launch draws heavily upon Yuin’s love for Graffiti art and will double as a “one night only” solo exhibition of new works on canvas by Yuin plus a collection of limited edition, signed and numbered prints (one for each song on the album) depicting the many themes explored throughout The Ripple Effect. These affordable prints also feature exclusive collaborations with local art luminaries Sofles (Ironlak Team), Maryanne Oliver and Fintan Magee and will be available on the night in sets of 10 for only $100!

Exhibition starts from 6:30pm Saturday February 25 with Dj’s and live painting. Llive acts from 9 till late, followed by more party sets from our DJ’s till close!

Note: This will be the last Yuin Huzami show for 6 months as he heads overseas days after the launch!

Entry is $17 and this event is strictly limited to 200 tickets (available at the door) so get there early!!!

Live painting with Sofles at Manifest 2011

Manifest is an awesome festival a couple hoursdrive out of Brisbane held in September each year.

Had the great pleasure of rapping there with Desmond Cheese and doing some live painting with my homie Sofles.

Such a fun event, big ups to all the organisers and good people there!

Magnus McTavish hits the Stockrooms!

After an awesome opening night and a successful exhibition in general to follow, what’s left of Magnus McTavish’s pieces from the “Colour” exhibition have hit the stock room and are now available at a reduced rate of 10% off to any interested parties. Pieces now range from $70 (small on card) -$360 (large on canvas). Here are some images of the artist at work on the collection.
